Our creative process
We co-create original shows that amplify participant voices, enriched by our facilitators’ expertise. Together, we craft unique stories and stage them in fun and creative ways.
Our creative journey begins with playful workshops designed to build group culture, creativity, and skill development. We explore ideas, themes, and emotions that participants want to express, using theatre tools to create movement, write scripts, and develop characters.
A safe space is cultivated throughout the process, allowing participants to be themselves, have fun, and generate bold ideas. This environment fosters strong group dynamics and sparks creativity that might not emerge otherwise.
Our writer-facilitator shapes all these ideas into a cohesive script. We bring in industry experts for masterclasses, along with a production designer and tech support to add professional touches.
The final show is performed at the Southwark Playhouse, ensuring participants experience the thrill of a professional theatre setting. LYT aims to make participants’ first step into the performing arts world feel real and empowering, helping them feel they belong on stage.
